About Hellraiser Revival Guide
Hellraiser Revival Guide is an independent, fan-made reference for Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival. It is not affiliated with Saber Interactive, with Boss Team Games, or with the Hellraiser rights holders, and it is not an official site for the game.
What this site covers
The pre-release window. Specifically:
- the release date and what each storefront actually shows;
- every edition, with prices and contents, including the physical and collector's releases;
- the free Steam demo;
- platform differences across PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2;
- the age rating and its descriptors;
- the recurring questions — crossplay and co-op, how long the game is, whether it is a game or a film.
The point of the site is to answer those questions from verifiable sources in a window when most coverage is either speculation or press-release reprint.
How we source things
Every factual claim carries a source and a date. Sources are graded: official sources first (the publisher's own site and support FAQ, the platform storefronts, the game's Steam pages), then databases such as Wikipedia, then third-party media for things only they measure, such as video runtimes. Where a figure exists in two official places and they disagree, both are published and marked as a conflict rather than one being chosen.
Anything the publisher has not announced is labelled Not announced, Unconfirmed, Not published or CONFLICT rather than estimated. That is a deliberate choice: for an unreleased game, a confident guess is worth less than an honest gap, because the guess is what gets quoted and the gap is what gets fixed.
What we do not do
- We do not publish review scores, hands-on verdicts or "leaks" for a game nobody outside the studio has played end to end.
- We do not estimate regional prices, performance figures or endings that have not been announced.
- We do not embed official art, screenshots or trailer frames. All graphics on this site are original.
- We do not run user accounts, comments or a store, and we do not sell anything.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, we want to fix it rather than defend it. Send the page, the claim and a source to the address on the contact page, and we will correct the page with a fresh date stamp — including when the correction is against our own earlier text.
