Has the date slipped?
No. The game was announced in July 2025 with no date, shown as a 45-minute demo at Gamescom in August 2025, and given the specific October 8, 2026 date in June 2026. It has not moved since. Because it is still pre-release, the date is checked against Steam, the two console stores and the official site on every update to this page.
Unlock time: what we do not publish
Saber Interactive has not announced a single global unlock time, and the storefronts disagree, so this page publishes the date only. The PlayStation Store listing measures 10/8/2026 12:00 PM UTC; Steam, the Xbox Store and Nintendo's store do not publish a time at all. A commonly repeated "16:00 UTC" figure has no supporting source and is not published here. Treat the countdown on the store you are buying from as authoritative — regional midnight releases are the norm, so the exact hour differs by platform and by country.
Can you still pre-order?
Yes, as of September 27, 2026. Pre-orders are open on Steam, the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Store, and console pre-orders have been live since August 2026. Every pre-order, on any edition, includes the same two in-game items: the "Labyrinth" pistol skin and the "Martyr" sawblade skin.
