Does Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival have crossplay or co-op?
No. There is no crossplay, no co-op and no multiplayer of any kind. Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival is a single-player game, full stop. You cannot play it with a friend on the same console, on another console, or on PC, and there is no PvP mode.
The official wording
Saber Interactive's own FAQ describes it as a "single-player first-person action horror survival game." That is the developer's own description of the product, not an assumption.
The storefront data agrees. Steam's listing for app 1551980 carries exactly one mode category — Single-player — and no "Online Co-op", "PvP" or "Cross-Platform Multiplayer" tag. The PlayStation Store describes it as 1 player. There is no crossplay toggle, no party system and no online requirement: the FAQ also confirms the game does not need an internet connection.
Where the question comes from
The demand is understandable rather than silly:
- Pinhead was in Dead by Daylight. The character appeared as a killer in that multiplayer game, and a lot of people first met Hellraiser through it. That is an unrelated game from a different publisher, and the Pinhead content there was later removed — it says nothing about this title.
- The question is asked in many languages. "Does it have crossplay" is a common search in Spanish and Portuguese, where this game's marketing reached a large audience; the phrasing simply carried into English.
- Horror games often do have co-op. The genre has plenty of two-player co-op horror, so "does this one" is a reasonable instinct — it just has a negative answer here.
Is there any alternative?
Not within this game. If playing with other people is a requirement rather than a preference, this title will not meet it — there is no workaround, no invite system and no future mode announced. The honest alternative is to treat it as what it is: a solo horror game. If you specifically want the Hellraiser-adjacent multiplayer experience, Dead by Daylight is the game people usually mean, and it is a completely separate product.
When this changes
This page flips only if Saber Interactive announces multiplayer, co-op or crossplay for Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival. As of September 27, 2026 there is no such announcement, and the developer's own description of the game rules it out. If that changes after release, this page is updated the same day.
